For your convenience, our most common customer questions are answered right here.
Q: Is Sarah and Lily’s Challenge a Charity or a Non-Profit?
A: No. This is a fundraising campaign, in which all the proceeds and in kind contributions collected on behalf of, and donated directly to charity.
Q: Which charity are you supporting?
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
Q: Did you previously fund raise for a different Charity? Why did you change?
A: Yes! For 5 years our events raised money for Friends and Angels: The Tracy Vicere Foundation. It is an excellent cause that we continue to support. This charity supports the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Children’s Medical Center (“CCMC”) Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and Survivors Facing Forward Program.
To date, the foundation has raised over $125,000 and provided thousands of donated items to help provide some joy and comfort to patients and their families during such a difficult time in their lives.
For 2020 along with the introduction of Lily as a co-host we changed our fundraising efforts to Memorial Sloan Kettering to advance the research that can be done into fighting cancer.
Q: Will my donation be tax deductible?
A: They could be, however you should consult your tax advisor. All checks should be made payable directly to “Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center”. Please review the FAQ section on the MSK website for more information.
